Zero Percent Game Dev - Math is fun
I know, I never thought I'd feel that way either. But then I've never been as excited about it as now (in relation to a game that I'm making). Okay, now imagine those rectangles are lakes or lava or mountains or or or... That's right. Travel will consist of actual geographical positions on a world map. Better vehicles means wider range and ability to get through terrain. In my examples to Spacey I gave: Undersea volcano. Yes. This is serious and awesome. Next step: Practical application, and deciding how to store positions in a table. (Probably: x1,y1, x2,y2) Thank you Underfoot for your patience and guidance.
