Zero Percent Game Dev - Dangit, Linux Mint. Stop breaking my things.
So they keep making Synaptic worse to 'guide' people towards whatever brang new software manager they're pushing (which I don't like). Apparently the new incentive is that they just made it stop adding dependencies. Some upgrade broke my Gnu Image Manipulation Program, which I use to scan and format this comic. The repository change dialog broke, so I had to manually erase the lines including the Gimp 2.7 packages and drop down to 2.6. I had to try several times because of the dependencies thing and different packages of different versions needing to be lessthan or equal to, which is kind of bizarre. In the end I got a worse version of the software I wanted and lost all my custom settings. Great. So, how's that compatibility with ATI video cards, eh Gnome3? Yeeaaahhhhhh. Maybe it's time to go looking for a different distribution. Again.
