Yeah, yeah. I've thought I'd removed chat duplication before.
This time it's really gone for me on three browsers. Apparently Underfoot and Marge still had a bunch on their end, and they had a problem with the settings div not loading, so we spent some time trying to troubleshoot why. I'm pretty frustrated how one feature might not work even in two similar versions of the same browser.
Syntax is so: /msg /message /messages /mail are all synonymous, and open the Mail tab. If you put anything after the command, it opens a compose div and fills the recipients field with those names. Example: '/msg frank, underfoot, marge'.
You can send leading slashes to chat (for example to demonstrate chat commands) by adding a space to the front. ' /whois frank' shows up in chat as [21:36:41] frank: /whois frank'.
/mark draws horizontal lines and stamps them with the time, and only shows up on your screen. This is the time according to your computer and might not always line up with the server time (which is used for lines of chat). This is a feature I use heavily to keep track of where I am in chat. |
